Annotation: From #1 New York Times bestselling author Marie Lu-when a game called Warcross takes the world by storm, one girl hacks her way into its dangerous depths.“ When the world is murky, guide yourself with your own steady light. Recommendation: Yes! It was action packed and fun and an amazing experience reading these books.

This was the first time I read a book by this author and this has compelled me to read her other series too. The ending was satisfying and well thought-out.

I loved Warcross much more than Wildcard as is the case for most duologies, the first book is always better than the second. The romance was good but it wasn’t the center of the book. Hideo Tanaka is a strong character and extremely swoon-worthy.įeelings: Both the books were full of action and thrill. She’s described as a very bold character and all her thoughts and feelings are described beautifully. When she hacks herself into the Warcross Championship opening ceremony game for the whole world to see, she is called from New York to Tokyo by the creater himself.Ĭharacters: Both the books are told by Emika’s POV. About: In a world crazy about Warcross, (the virtual reality game created by teenage prodigy Hideo Tanaka) Emika Chen is a bounty hunter, hunting the people illegally using Warcross or the ones in the Dark World.
